Locations

Our data storage and associated computational infrastructure is located in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and South Australia and is networked via high-speed AARNet research and education network.

These locations are managed by the following organisations, which together represent over 26 universities and research institutions across Australia:

New South Wales

Med.Data is co-located at Intersect with “Time” fast computing (which includes both the rc.NeCTAR.org.au cloud and the orange.Intersect.org.au High Performance Computer).

Victoria

Med.Data is co-located at VicNode with the NeCTAR cloud computing and HPC facilities at both  Monash University and the University of Melbourne operating centres.

South Australia

Med.Data is co-located at eRSA with the NeCTAR cloud computing SA node and the Tizard HPC.

Queensland

Med.Data is co-located at QCIF with QRIScloud and QCIF HPC.

Tasmania

Med.Data is co-located at TPAC with the Tasmanian node of the NeCTAR research cloud and the TPAC HPC Facility.

Other operating nodes in other states may join in the future.
